Teerilampi wilderness cabin for rent, Ikaalinen

A cosy, old log cabin in a superb spot on a rocky outcrop on the shore of Teerilampi recreational fishing lake, close to Seitseminen National Park. The main room has 3 bunk beds, 2 single beds and a cooking area with a farmhouse table. Large sauna with an adjoining fireplace room and a porch. The yard includes a woodshed and a campfire ring. Heating and cooking are by wood stove; there is an outdoor earth cellar for cold storage. Drinking water comes from a well (boiling recommended). The sauna is on the lakeshore; water must be carried from the lake or the well. Beach/swimming: deep immediately from the jetty, hard bottom, a reasonably good swimming spot. Boat use is prohibited. Distances: Länsi-Aure 13 km, Parkano 27 km, Kuru 25 km; bus: Kuru–Parkano – road to Länsi-Aure 13 km; railway station (Parkano) 34 km; Tampere 80 km. Nearest lean-to approx. 100 m, nearest neighbour approx. 3 km. Seitseminen National Park 5 km. Helvetinjärvi National Park 53 km. The Kovero heritage farm belonging to Seitseminen National Park is nearby (5 km). The cabin is located right on the shore of Teerilampi recreational fishing lake 6545 (www.eraluvat.fi). Casting jetties have been built on the shore and anglers use the area. A lean-to popular with anglers is approx. 100 m from the cabin, behind the rock. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout. The property is let by separate agreement under a five-year lease for an annual rent and the rent will be tied to the cost-of-living index.
In the auction you are therefore bidding the amount of one year’s rent (euros/year)

If the tenant is a company using the property for VAT-liable business activity, a commercial lease will be made and value added tax (25.5%) will be added to the rent.
In addition, for commercial leases we require a security deposit equal to 1.5 x the VAT-inclusive annual rent.
We accept a bank or surety institution guarantee as security.

The cabin has previously been a rental cabin and will be let with the equipment and furnishings that are present at the time the lease is signed.

The property is let as seen at the time of letting and, under the terms of the lease, the tenant will be responsible for the maintenance of the buildings in their entirety, including minor repairs. As landlord, Metsähallitus will not contribute to the above maintenance costs during the lease term. Metsähallitus will decide separately and on a case-by-case basis on any larger, renovation-type repairs. Metsähallitus pays the property tax and the buildings’ fire insurance.

The tenant is responsible for any snow-clearing costs. Forest access roads are not kept open in winter except for Metsähallitus’s own operations, and Metsähallitus maintains roads only as required for its own needs.

No special rights or privileges, such as fishing or hunting permits, will be included in the lease.
