You can drive to the cottage and the car may remain on the driveway for the whole stay.

The Holiday Club Pyhäniemi resort is situated on a fine pine ridge by the clean and fish-rich Lake Kankarinjärvi in Kihniö, Northern Häme / Pirkanmaa. The area has a nice beach with a water slide and a playground with, among other things, an impressive two-masted pirate ship. At Pyhäniemi you can play tennis, mini golf, badminton, disc golf, padel, pétanque, beach volleyball, go kayaking — outdoor chess and more. There are excellent walking and cycling trails (electric-assist fatbikes are available to hire). The resort also has a cosy lakeside restaurant/bar, rentable lakeside sauna & sauna-boat, gym park, playground, grill hut, covered barbecue area, beauty salon, etc.

The main activity is Lake Kankarinjärvi, which is great for canoeing or boating – anglers take note! Kankarinjärvi is part of an attractive pike-perch (zander) fishery. You’ll find the best spots yourself, but it’s worth trying deep open-water areas and their edges. A local fishing permit is included in the service charge.

About an hour’s drive to, among other places, the Tuur village store. Nearby are also several national parks, for example Helvetinjärvi National Park and Seitsemisen National Park.

Owning a holiday week means carefree holidays. As a week owner you acquire a share of the holiday apartment. Holiday Club takes care of maintenance and cleaning, bedding and firewood, so you can concentrate on relaxing and enjoying yourself.

If you cannot use the week yourself it is easy to rent it out or transfer the week to a friend — just inform reception who will arrange key collection.

The service charge covers final cleaning, bedding, towels, consumables, apartment and grounds maintenance and purchases, heating, electricity, water, insurances, property tax, waste management, maintenance services and standby, reception and key services, property management, administration, etc.

Service charge for 2026:

€300 / year.

The buyer will have use of the share from week 38/2025 onwards (Fri 11 Sep 2026 - Fri 18 Sep 2026).

The apartment is available from Fri at 14:00 and must be vacated the following Fri by 10:00.

Pets allowed (pet fee €35 / week).
