Lease agreement

Lease agreements will be signed with the winning bidders for the period 1 May 2026 – 31 December 2029 with a three-month notice period. The lease agreement is attached to this notice.

The tenant must arrange, at their own expense, the waste management and the required wastewater, electricity and water connections for the rented area.

Bids

Binding bids are made in the auction procedure organised on the Huutokaupat.com website. Participation requires logging into the system.

The auction concerns the kiosk space's monthly rent. The winning bidder undertakes to pay the offered rent for every month of the year and to supply a security deposit equal to three months' rent.

The auction will be won by the highest bidder who has also demonstrated sufficient financial and other capacity to meet the obligations under the lease.

Other auction conditions

Bids (offers) must be submitted in the Huutokaupat.com service by the specified deadline. It is also possible to participate by submitting a written binding offer to the City of Helsinki by 22 March 2026 at 16:00. Arrangements for submitting a written offer must be agreed in advance (via the "Send a message" button) no later than 18 March 2026. All offers will be recorded as public on the listing. A written purchase offer is binding and is subject to the same conditions as the online auction. The written offer must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum amount of the offer and the Huutokaupat.com listing number to which the offer relates.

The City of Helsinki is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider's system. The highest bid is the one that the service provider's system has accepted as the highest.

The City of Helsinki reserves the right to end the sale or to extend the sale period.

Bids are binding and the accepted bidder is obliged to enter into the lease and to pay the offered price and the security deposit in accordance with the lease agreement.

Bidders agree to disclose their contact details to the City of Helsinki for decision-making purposes.

The City decides on committing to a lease in accordance with the City of Helsinki's administrative regulations. By participating in the electronic auction, the bidder consents to electronic service of decisions. Electronic service will be sent to the e-mail address provided to the service provider's system.

Withdrawal from an accepted bid

If a bidder withdraws from an accepted bid, they must compensate the City of Helsinki for costs arising from the failed auction.
