Arable land for rent: Rautajärvi, Pälkäne

The Municipality of Pälkäne offers its owned arable land in the village of Rautajärvi for agricultural use on lease.

The lease is valid 1 May 2026 – 31 December 2030.

The rented area comprises the following field parcels:

• 4390113704, north side of Hiukankuja, 0.50 ha

• 4390303761, south side of Hiukankuja, 0.76 ha

• 4390321848, Vaahterakuja, 0.89 ha

• 4390114108, Weberinpisteentie, 0.91 ha

i.e. a total of 3.06 ha.

Offers must be submitted for the entire rental area in the form euros / hectare / year.

For example, if the winning bid is €150/ha/year the annual rent will be 3.06 * 150 = €459.

The annual rent is fixed for the contract period.

There are residential plots for sale on Rautajärvi fields. If a plot is sold during the lease, the municipality has the right to terminate the lease under the conditions recorded in the sale.

The fields are rented in their current condition. The municipality cannot provide information on possible drainage or past crop condition.

Lease agreements will be signed as soon as possible after the auction ends and the agreement will include the following conditions:

1. The tenant undertakes to cultivate the leased basic parcels for the entire lease period in accordance with the conditions of environmental support and the compensations for natural handicap, and to keep the rented parcels eligible for these supports by applying annually.

2. The tenant is obliged to maintain any ditches and culverts located on the rented area during the lease period.

3. The tenant does not have the right to transfer the lease to a third party without the municipality's written consent, except in the case of succession.

4. The landlord has the right to partially or completely terminate this agreement at the end of any calendar year unless otherwise agreed, by notifying the tenant of the termination by the end of October. This requires that the area or part of it is needed for uses other than those covered by this lease, for example construction under a local plan. The landlord is obliged to pay reasonable compensation for sowing made before the termination that has become wasted.
