Terms of Sale

The seller undertakes to sell the item to the highest bidder.

Bids must be placed by the stated deadline. The highest bid is the bid the seller has accepted as highest. It is also possible to participate in the auction in person on site by submitting a bid to the seller. The seller and the buyer undertake to record all bids in the system. The bidder accepts these terms of sale by placing a bid.

Inspection of the property

Before making a bid the bidder is obliged to inspect the apartment and the company’s documents and records. The buyer may not afterwards rely on any matter that could have been observed during the preliminary inspection.

Seller’s information

The seller is responsible for the accuracy and currency of the documents related to the property. The seller warrants that they have given the buyer all information known to the seller which could reasonably be expected to affect the sale.

Conclusion of the sale

The sale is concluded when the seller accepts the highest bid and the auction has ended. All bids are therefore binding.

Contracts of sale will be signed remotely or in Oulu at a location agreed by buyer and seller within two days of the auction.

The buyer pays the purchase price into the seller’s account and supplies the seller with the information needed for the sale contracts. The seller prepares the contracts and sends them signed to the buyer. After the buyer has signed and returned the contract and the transfer tax declaration, the seller will send any paper share certificate to the buyer and the documents required for transfer to the company.

Other costs

The buyer is responsible for transfer tax, which is 1.5% of the purchase price excluding debt.

Withdrawal from the purchase
