The purchase price does not include deductible VAT, nor will VAT be added to the purchase price. If the lot has not been collected by the stated deadline, the material will revert to the ownership of the Finnish Defence Forces and the amount paid will remain in full with the Finnish Defence Forces to cover costs.

Collection of the lot must be agreed with the contact person at least 2 working days in advance. The collector’s identity will be checked and collection will be acknowledged. The winner’s instructions will include the contact person’s details.

Defects and other observations

The material for sale is owned by the Finnish Defence Forces, which is therefore the seller. The sale is carried out by Millog Oy as the seller’s representative. The material is sold as scrap, for spare parts or repair, in the condition in which it is at the time of sale. The Finnish Defence Forces and Millog Oy do not guarantee the functionality or suitability of the material for any purpose. The Finnish Defence Forces and Millog Oy have not tested, trial-operated, road-tested, inspected or otherwise tested the material for sale. The material may have latent or visible defects, deficiencies, damage, wear or previous poorly performed repairs, or it may have been inadequately or incorrectly maintained; these factors may affect its functionality, safety or value.

The Finnish Defence Forces and Millog Oy are not responsible for any occupational safety deficiencies, shortcomings, fitness or acceptability of the auctioned materials for road or water traffic, or for compliance with statutory requirements.

No claims may be made against the Finnish Defence Forces or Millog Oy for measures or costs related to bringing the material for sale into the condition required by road traffic, water traffic or occupational safety legislation, or any other applicable legislation.

The material is sold in the condition and with the equipment it has at the time of purchase (“as is”). The buyer undertakes not to invoke any possible defects, deficiencies or damage under the Sale of Goods Act (355/1987). The buyer expressly waives the right to demand cancellation of the sale, a price reduction or damages, or to make any other claims against the Finnish Defence Forces or Millog Oy after the bid has been accepted. By submitting a bid, the buyer accepts these auction terms, the condition of the material and the above limitation of liability in full.

The right to accept or reject bids is reserved.

No receipts or documents will be available after the auction.

Paid-for lots must be removed in full.
