MOT valid until: 10/2027

Recently MOT-tested, tidy Peugeot, sold for repair; gearbox plays up when warm!!!

The automatic gearbox operates completely normally when starting off cold for the first 20–30 km.

After that, at motorway speeds, it changes from fourth to third gear and activates the gearbox warning lights.

Restarting the car clears the warning lights and the gearbox works normally again for a while.

After driving a few kilometres, it develops the same fault again and the warning lights come on; no information on what causes it?

It manages reasonably well in town like this, but it may not be advisable to drive on a motorway!
