Cooltron Reco 60 EVO2 heat recovery ventilation unit

Warranty: 1 year for the unit, 3 years for the motor!

EVO 2 is an updated version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room-specific ventilation unit. Minimalist matt white design and a new stylish remote control.

The highly popular Reco 60 ventilation unit was redesigned to create the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit has a stylish matt white finish that blends even better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 ventilation unit can be connected directly and discreetly to a 230 V mains supply. The unit is still supplied with a plug, which is the primary connection option. A completely new and even more stylish remote control has also been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for approximately 30–40% of energy consumption; with the Reco 60 EVO2 ventilation unit, you can recover up to 90% of this energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 ventilation unit easily converts gravity ventilation into mechanical ventilation. The unit is designed to provide continuous, controlled ventilation in the space where it is installed, bringing in fresh air and extracting stale air. The unit’s ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from extracted air with an efficiency of up to 90%, so in addition to fresh indoor air, you can save on heating costs. In summer, Reco 60 reduces the need for air-source heat-pump cooling, as extracted air cools the warm incoming air in the heat exchanger.

Reco 60 is particularly well suited to garages, storage areas and holiday homes, for example. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses with gravity ventilation. Larger spaces may require several units to achieve adequate ventilation. In that case, the units’ operating cycles can be timed so that some blow outwards while others blow inwards at the same time.

The ventilation unit is designed for installation through a wall. Its telescopic construction allows installation in wall structures 250–400 mm thick. Installation requires a hole with a diameter of 165 mm in the wall. The unit is easy to connect to electricity directly from a socket using the plug.

The ventilation unit is designed for continuous operation, so it should remain connected to the mains at all times. The unit is controlled using the supplied remote control or the buttons on its edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, humidity and carbon dioxide, creating a pleasant indoor climate. The unit can be fitted with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter, which efficiently removes allergenic particles from indoor air.
