Clean BMW for sale!

We originally sold this car in 2023, and now it was time for the customer to upgrade to something newer, so the BMW has come back to us. It has been in daily use and serviced regularly. The interior is exceptionally tidy considering the car is a 2005 model year, and the paintwork shows no more than normal wear.

Test drive
I took the car for about a 15-minute test drive in the city and on the motorway. During the drive, I noticed that the memory function of the electric seat does not work, and the instrument cluster shows the engine warning light as well as the brake pad warning light. I asked the previous owner about this, and the engine warning light is likely caused by a faulty VANOS solenoid, which also explains why the car does not accelerate very briskly. The VANOS solenoid costs about €200, so taking it to a workshop will likely result in a bill of around €500. Otherwise, nothing noteworthy came up during the test drive apart from the fact that the driving feel was really good.
