BMW 530, 2010, Nurmijärvi

A very tidy, well-equipped factory M-Sport LCI 530xi E61 (2010) up for auction. CAR IS OFF THE ROAD!

The car has mainly been used for long-distance driving and has been maintained carefully. Similar late-life petrol all-wheel-drive models are extremely rare on the Finnish market!

Inspected without remarks on 4 August 2026 (driving rights until August 2027). Expensive common faults already sorted!

Overall condition (mechanics, body, interior):

• Very tidy for the mileage, both inside and out. The engine runs smoothly and pulls strongly without hesitation.

• Drivetrain in good condition, 4x4 works faultlessly and the suspension does not clunk.

• Rear seat leather has always been protected under child seats.

• Moderate fuel consumption for the size and engine (tested on a highway/mixed 500 km trip and found reasonable (photo)).

Honestly known minor faults / notes:

• Small paint chip on the right-hand sill (repaired with touch-up paint and clear coat). Small signs of rust on the tailgate edge.

• Minor oil seepage from the gearbox/transfer case (normal sweating, does not affect use or inspection).

• The steering wheel vibrates slightly when braking (no play found on the lift or during alignment, front brakes opened, freed off and cleaned - the new brake discs may be slightly warped).

• Valve lifters tick a little when cold / after standing for a few seconds after start-up (a typical N53 engine characteristic).

• The alternator sometimes makes a noise at idle/low revs.

Tyre type and condition

• Summer tyres: BMW OEM STYLE 135 (genuine M-Sport 8x18" wheels). Straight and free from vibration, with minor kerb damage. Tyres are Triangle Sportex (245/40R18), tread 5–6 mm.

• Winter tyres: 17" MSW 19 (Design by OZ) wheels in very good condition. Tyres are Michelin studded tyres (215/55R17), plenty of tread, but due to age (13 years) they should be replaced.

Service and repairs

Comprehensive service booklet (paper) and a large stack of receipts included. Serviced punctually and on time.

Most recent services (2025–2026):

• 8/2026 (308000): rear driveshafts replaced (Magneti Marelli)

• 7/2026 (306,900 km): rear right wheel bearing and hub replaced.

• 7/2026 (306,320 km): engine oil, oil filter and differential oils changed. Filters cleaned, rear brakes freed off.

• 6/2026: four-wheel alignment carried out.

• 4/2026 (301,000 km): air conditioning service (blows cold even in hot weather).

• 12/2025 (295,509 km): oil change + additives (engine cleaner, X-1R, Red Line Seal Saver), VANOS filters cleaned, engine oil pressure checked (all OK).

• 11/2025: boot Bluetooth module replaced.

• 8/2025: windscreen replaced with a new one.

• 5/2025 (284,000 km): major suspension refresh (new joints, bushes, control arms, track rods and drop links).

• 3/2025 (282,000 km): air springs, air suspension compressor, alternator and tailgate gas struts replaced (€1,461).

• 2/2025: new Exide AGM 96 Ah / 850 A battery + coding.

Expensive common faults and major repairs:

• Index 11 injectors replaced, coded and adapted (8/2020 / 247,000 km, €2,054) - the most important expensive N53 engine issue has been fixed!

• Drivetrain: prop shaft, rear differential, and front and rear driveshafts replaced (1/2021, €3,557). Differential and final drive oils changed in 3/2021.

• OEM BMW high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) and NOx sensor replaced (8/2018, €2,150).

• Boot wiring loom repaired (9/2020).

• Oil pan gasket, oil cooler + filter housing gasket and oil pressure sensor replaced.

• Bilstein front shock absorbers and springs, gearbox oil, air conditioning compressor, starter motor and serpentine belt kit replaced.

Possible changes and improvements

• H-style front lip

• Powerful Purelux Road Curve auxiliary light

• Original silencer included (the car currently has a rear section made from stainless pipe).

• Front grille covers used in winter.
