Terms of Sale
The seller undertakes to sell the item to the highest bidder.
The item is sold as a transaction between users. Huutokaupat.com does not act as a party to the transaction.
Offers must be submitted by the stated deadline. The highest offer is the offer that the seller has accepted as the highest. It is also possible to participate in the auction in person by submitting an offer to the seller on site. The seller and the buyer undertake to record all offers in the system. By placing a bid, the bidder accepts these terms of sale.
Inspection of the property
Before making an offer, the bidder is obliged to inspect the property in question, the documents and the records. The buyer may not subsequently invoke any matter that could have been discovered in a pre-inspection.
Information provided by the seller
The seller warrants that they have provided the buyer with all information known to the seller and which can be assumed to affect the transaction.
Conclusion of the sale
The sale of the property must be completed in the form prescribed by the Finnish Code of Real Estate. The time and place for signing the deed of sale will be agreed separately with the buyer. Payment of the purchase price takes place at the completion of the transaction. The fee of the authorised public purchase witness is paid equally by the seller and the buyer.
Other costs
The buyer is responsible for transfer tax in accordance with the tax practice in force from time to time.
Withdrawing from the sale
A party who refuses to complete the sale must, under the Land Code, compensate the other party for reasonable costs arising from advertising, inspecting the property, and other necessary actions related to the transaction.
