The Hot Tub Trailer Cube Step In, or “Mobile-Cube” among friends, is big by American standards. A two-by-two-metre basin gives four square metres of splash or relaxation area. Small children can even swim in this tub! Adults should consider goggles, because there’s room to splash, paddle and play. And when the children are in bed, the Cube can fit the whole neighbourhood’s parents and even granny — this tub accommodates up to 12 people without any world-record attempts. You can, of course, spoil yourself by using the Cube as a single tub where the tallest bather can float without fearing knees or head hitting the rim. You can dive in more than just the fetal position. The Cube is also a guaranteed hit at home parties, lifting the atmosphere sky-high — there’s no roof, so you can admire every season from the tub. And all this can be towed by car to the most imaginative locations. Just ensure a water supply and you’re set! The Cube can even be filled with a large bucket if the location is worth a bit of effort.

The Hot Tub Trailer Cube Step In is a complete tub package. On top of the extra-large trailer base made by domestic JJ-Trailer sits Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s rectangular Cube Step In tub with Step In stairs, a powerful Arctic heating stove and improved access steps. All parts are firmly secured to the trailer for safe transport. The stove’s flue is fastened to the chassis, the accessory box is locked and the cover is secured with strong rubber straps for the journey. When the bathing spot is reached, the trailer is raised on its four support legs and front wheel. Fill the tub, light the stove and shortly after you’re bathing, wherever you happen to be. The classic bathing experience gains a non-classic twist when you can change bathing locations every time. Besides offering your own experience, you can of course become a hot tub host and rent out your trailer.

Towable even by a small car!

The lightweight chassis and tub with stove weigh a total of only 516 kg, so almost any tow‑bar‑equipped vehicle can pull it to new bathing sites. The pressure-treated wooden floor emphasises the trailer’s finished look. The wooden decking and the 372 cm chassis length provide a pleasant cooling platform for legs during tub breaks. The trailer width is two metres; the front wheel helps move the trailer even without a car when trying to find a level bathing spot.

More bathing space without higher water consumption

The Cube holds over 2,200 litres if filled to the brim. That is a bit unnecessary, since when eight to twelve bathers get into warm water a large amount will spill over the rim. We recommend a fill level of about 1,800 litres, only a couple of hundred litres more than a normal-sized tub. While Finland has thousands of lakes and water is plentiful, there’s no need to turn the Cube into a once-only garden geyser. It’s easy to learn to estimate the right water volume for the number of bathers.

The Step In step has many uses

You wouldn’t think one plastic step could have so many uses, but it does. We have designed the Step In step to make entering the Cube easier. The step naturally makes exiting the tub easier but also works as a seat for a smaller child who might otherwise sink into the seat. In practice the step also serves as a handy armrest — it turns the Cube into a convenient water armchair. The Step In solution makes the Cube suitable for bathers of all ages and helps people with limited mobility. Tired limbs are easier to lower into soothing warm water thanks to the Cube’s Step In step.

In the Cube’s design the corners have been specially considered so corner seats are not rigid and uncomfortable; corner backrests make the corner seats the most desirable.

A wealth of choices

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka the customer is always right, so we offer options for the Cube’s interior. Choose the plastic tub colour from five options: sea blue, turquoise blue, black, granite grey or light lichen grey. It doesn’t stop there. You can also choose the cover colour between black or grey; an Arctic Spa thermal cover is also available. The tub colour range is inspired by nature, including sea blue and lichen grey. All shades are compatible and work well together.

Gentle heat, efficiently

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW stove is robust and conducts heat well. The stove features a beautiful glass door so the wood-heated tub emits a warm glow without opening the door to check the fire.

Our marine-aluminium stoves included in the hot tub packages are manufactured in Finland. The powerful stove is not fazed by seawater — it works with both fresh and saline water. Carefully chosen materials make the stove a hot top‑quality product. The stove package includes two metres of flue pipe and a rain cap.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine oxidises marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water frequently and using active oxygen tablets (see accessory list). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours; afterwards the water can also be used for irrigation, as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water easily forms a slimy surface at the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this. In a mobile tub trailer the water is likely to be changed even more often.

Turbocharged super stove!

An optional extra is a super‑crazy 50 kW stove, which brings your tub to bathing temperature almost in one go. With this turbocharged stove the cube of water heats in as little as an hour in winter, and faster in summer. The three‑pipe system intensifies water circulation between the stove and tub. You won’t have time to chill the tub drinks fast enough with this stove, but you’re unlikely to hear complaints about the quick heating.

Carefree plastic tub

The unique, comfort-focused Cube tub section is moulded from Jaxal polyethylene. This plastic has memory — it keeps the shape it was moulded into. The low‑maintenance, worry‑free plastic tub stands the test of time, which is why we confidently offer a ten‑year warranty.

Because the plastic tub has no moulded seams, dirt cannot accumulate in specific places. Remember to keep the tub surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with normal cleaning products. More exacting users may occasionally disinfect their tub, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.

Wood on the surface, insulation below – all domestic quality

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s Oulu factory your Cube receives its final touch of beautiful wood. The exterior cladding uses Lunawood deep‑thermal treated wood, which improves with age. If you wish you can apply a wood preservative, oil or paint, but untreated wood greys gracefully over the years. Under the wood skin the Cube’s thermal heart beats — the tub is lined with thermo‑plastic on the sides. Under the tub there is a carefully made EPS insulation layer over 40 cm thick that keeps things warm. The Cube is automatically a winter model, but there’s no penalty for summer use. Only relaxed feelings and a touch of luxury.
