Neat and roomy Volkswagen Crafter long 9-seat combi with Carsport design. The vehicle has been in active use and the mileage shows normal wear; surface rust is visible around the vehicle, but the mechanics still serve well. There is plenty of space for passengers and cargo. The Crafter is known for good drivability and practicality. Previously used by a family carer. Also suitable for crew transport, hobby use or a camper conversion project. The car has an economical and reliable 2.0 TDI diesel engine and a manual gearbox.


Sold for repair only because the rear door will not close and the side door no longer works electrically, although it operates easily manually. After standing for three days we noticed the vehicle had leaked oil onto the floor.


MOT valid until December. Winter tyres are in excellent condition, summer tyres are in acceptable condition. Timing belt kit was last changed in March 2023 at approximately 430,000 km, so it should still have plenty of life. The most recent service was in November 2025 at 462,000 km.

On a short test drive we observed the following:


- After standing over the weekend (Fri–Mon) in storage, it had leaked oil underneath


- The rear door refuses to lock (possibly a locking mechanism fault)


- The side door no longer works electrically, but is easily operated manually
