Boundary-wire free robotic lawn mower

Mammotion determines its position to centimetre accuracy using GPS-based Real Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning and the AI-assisted UltraSense AI Vision. Thanks to the positioning technology, the robot does not require a separate boundary cable; the mowing area is defined virtually.

Areas within the lawn where you do not want the robot to go can also be defined in the mobile app, for example under a trampoline.

All-wheel drive

The Mammotion Luba 2 AWD is all-wheel drive, enabling it to operate on steeper slopes. Maximum gradient is up to 80% (38.6°).

Adaptive suspension system

Mammotion features a suspension system that allows the robot to travel over uneven ground. The robot can overcome obstacles of about 5 cm in height, such as stones.

Powerful cutting

The Luba 2 model has two cutting discs, giving it a very wide cutting width for a robotic mower (40 cm). This allows the robot to cut up to 1000 m² on a single charge.

Easy commissioning

Installing Mammotion does not require a professional; commissioning is done via the mobile app, which guides and instructs during setup. The mowing area boundaries are taught to the robot using a smartphone.

The mowing area borders are also easy to edit afterwards from the map drawn in the app.

Systematic mowing

Mammotion’s intelligent navigation algorithm plans the most efficient cutting route so the entire lawn is mowed systematically and evenly. The robot also varies its cutting route each time to avoid stripes and produce a lively finish.

UltraSense AI Vision camera recognises and avoids obstacles

Thanks to UltraSense AI Vision and artificial intelligence, Mammotion scans ahead and recognises various obstacles on the lawn and avoids them.

The camera also helps the robot to localise itself in difficult spots or when GPS signal is weak.

Installation and control with a Finnish-language mobile app

Installation, control and monitoring of Mammotion are performed via the Finnish-language mobile app. The app connects to the robot over the 4G mobile network.

The mobile app shows:

• the mowing area map

• real-time mowing status

• the robot’s location

• possible fault notifications

Can handle multiple mowing areas

Multiple separate mowing areas and the routes between them can be programmed for Mammotion.

Each mowing area’s settings can be configured separately, for example cutting height and which days that area is mown.

Easy to clean

The robot is water-resistant (IPX6) and can therefore be rinsed all over.

Safe

With the camera, Mammotion recognises different obstacles, people and animals and avoids them. The unit also has lift and tilt sensors which stop the blades immediately if the device is turned or gets into trouble.
