Inspected on 29/04/2026. For the inspection the glow‑plug relay was replaced and a new battery fitted to replace the old, tired one. A few repair recommendations are shown in the last picture — no need to display them again.

Bought as a tow vehicle for a track group but we concluded a Category B licence vehicle would be more practical as not everyone can drive this.

Imported from Germany; first registered in 2019 according to Traficom. Appears to have been used by a cable company as a transfer vehicle (based on old logos). The service book was misplaced; the one that came with the sale was blank. Immediately after arrival we did a timing assembly overhaul including auxiliary belts, a major service and renewed all oils and filters. Summer tyres on powder‑coated wheels — two recently purchased and two older but good. Winter tyres a similar set: two older good ones and two newer, studs have plenty of life left. We fitted a thick marine plywood floor at the rear and moved the seats about 40 cm back. The bulkhead was removed but is included.

Paint has rust spots here and there; underside looks sound from a hoist. The paint looks better when wet than normally. Biggest colour differences were buffed out in summer but the paint would benefit from some TLC. I tried to photograph all cosmetic faults; more photos available on request.

I have had the vehicle for about a year and ~12,000 km; mostly used towing a trailer or trailer box. Major work carried out:

• Timing assembly overhaul when the vehicle arrived.

• Major service overall.

• Alternator.

• Glow plug, cylinder 1.

• Injector, cylinder 2.

• Rear axle pinion seal and differential oil.

• DPF removed and cleaned.

• I change oil and filters roughly every 10,000 km, usually with a flushing agent or flushing oil.

Known faults:

• The exhaust started to smell in summer and was diagnosed as a leaking injector on cylinder 2. The injector was replaced but the smell returned in early winter: diagnostics now show slight leakage on cylinder 1 (leakage -0.5) and cylinder 5 (leakage -0.6; optimal approx +0.5), which causes a sharp exhaust odour. It still passed the emissions test as is.

• Has been throwing fault codes for about a week: P2BAC (Motonet tester has no description) and P0671 (cylinder 1 glow‑plug circuit open). This started during DPF regeneration and is likely related to glow‑plug control when regeneration heats the engine more than normal. Not fixed by replacing the glow plug.

• Passenger window switch cover has come off; the switch works but the outer casing detached. A new part has been bought but not fitted.

• The brake‑pad wear indicator warns regularly, but pads were checked after purchase and were present, so the sensor is likely faulty. It never lit while the vehicle was towing.

• The lower edge of the right‑hand rear door sometimes sticks; we have had to open it from inside a couple of times when the lock jammed. Likely fixable by adjusting the striker.

• One rear‑seat belt casing has split. The belt works but the seat‑mounted casing has cracked. Three new replacement casing pieces included.
