Ford Transit, 2014, Ylöjärvi

For sale to be repaired: a long Ford Transit, a small minibus fitted by Prostyle, registered as a 1+8 passenger car.

The vehicle was used as an accessible taxi until December 2022, after which it was for private use and reclassified as a passenger car on 06/09/2023.

Sold for repair because the DPF (diesel particulate filter) is blocked and the vehicle smokes heavily whenever regeneration starts.

Other faults:

- the sliding door lock cylinder is broken; the door can be used but cannot be locked. Central locking works for the other doors, but the vehicle emits a warning tone whenever the doors are locked.

- the clutch pedal does not always return fully and sometimes remains slightly low. The clutch works and gears change fine.

- a piece has detached from the plastic air filter housing and has been taped up, see photo.

- a few small dents and early rust on the sills and arches, see photos.

- the vehicle has two additional fuel heaters, but the cab heater does not work and the passenger compartment heater is unreliable (works intermittently). Despite these faults the vehicle is drivable and no warning lights are on.

The vehicle passed inspection on 15/10/2025 and has valid motor insurance, but I do not recommend driving it before repair (because of the smoking).

Now the positives,

• Large, spacious vehicle with good room for a big group and still plenty of space for luggage.

• Interior by Prostyle: leather-look seats, tinted rear windows, sound system, dimmable LED lights and roof ventilation vents for in/out airflow.

• Good equipment: heated windscreen, towbar, engine block heater, cruise control, bull bar, extra lights, separate air conditioning for cab and passenger area.

• All rear seats are removable and can be rearranged, so it is also suitable for transporting large items.

• Two sets of alloy wheels: summer tyres with approximately 5–6 mm tread and studded winter tyres with approximately 7–8 mm tread (Nokian Hakkapeliitta).

• New heated windscreen fitted on 06/02/2026 (receipt/photo).

• New turbo fitted in summer 2025 (receipt/photo).

• Autumn 2025: factory-serviced EGR valve, new intake manifold and exhaust gas temperature sensor replaced (receipt/photo).

The vehicle previously had an electric sliding door but it has been converted to manual; the mechanism and wiring are still in place so it can be converted back if desired. A wheelchair lift was fitted in the rear but removed in 2023; the lift's power cable remains in the rear.

This vehicle does not yet have an AdBlue system.
