The car was registered new for private use in Denmark and imported to Finland by Saka as a used vehicle in late 2024. According to the dealer's assessment, at least the A‑pillar outer skin and internal parts have been renewed, so the car may have a prior damage/repair history. CarVertical and CARFAX reports are “clean”. No records of damage were found in Traficom or Færdselsstyrelsen (the Danish vehicle authority).

 

In early 2025 fault codes appeared for the windscreen wipers and a bus communication error. The car was taken to a Toyota dealer for inspection and it was found the fault codes were caused by moisture reaching the wiring‑harness connectors. The dealer found missing sealant between the radiator apron and the A‑pillar, which had allowed driving wind to push water into the vehicle. The leak was sealed and the floor covering and wiring were dried. The wiring connectors were cleaned and greased. The car has operated normally since the repair, but the dealer noted that if faults recur the wiring harness should be replaced.

 

There is no certainty about any previous damage repairs or their correctness. The car has just passed its periodic inspection without remarks and no defects affecting roadworthiness were found. Externally there are no obvious signs that repairs were carried out improperly.

Toyota Relax ended on 7 November 2025 but can be reactivated by carrying out the next scheduled service at a Toyota dealer.
