  • Reliable 2.1 CDI diesel with a 6-speed manual gearbox, emission standard Euro 5 — i.e. without an AdBlue system!

  • Originally sold new in Finland (a so-called "Suomiauto"). In addition to comprehensive basic equipment, nice extras include ILS headlights, cruise control, parking sensors, electric seats, Bluetooth for calls and music, tow bar, engine heater, etc.

  • Fitted with good Hankook studded tyres on the original 17" alloy wheels, tyre tread approx. 8 mm. For summer there are 20" wheels: 2 tyres with about 5 mm tread and 2 that need replacing (around 2 mm).

  • Service history very good: early years recorded in the electronic system; separate service book and receipts for 190–429k km, some receipts and the book photographed. This shows the car has been carefully maintained and kept in very good condition. After 400k km worn suspension joints, brakes, rear brake pipes and rear springs were practically renewed. Turbo replaced with a new unit at 392k km in 2024. According to the previous owner the clutch and flywheel were also recently replaced but I cannot find a receipt.

  • Body and interior in decent condition — normal minor wear for age and mileage but nothing unusual. The car is in regular use, so a light clean and wash makes a noticeable difference.

  • I drove the car for several days; no issues with equipment or mechanics were found. Drives well and stable; with the current programming it feels brisk and fuel consumption is very low. If emission-modification concerns you, this is a great car to drive as-is or it can be returned to stock if needed. It has been MOT-tested and driven like this for years!

Modifications have been detected in the engine programming or exhaust systems, which means the vehicle is not roadworthy. During a short test drive we made the following observations:


-The front grille is missing its badge; the grille and the badge mount are intact. The badge appeared online for €94 new.

Modifications have been detected to the engine software or exhaust systems, meaning the vehicle is not roadworthy. The buyer is responsible for restoring the vehicle to roadworthy condition at their own expense. Clarification: diesel particulate filter (DPF) has been programmed out/disabled and power has been slightly increased.


The vehicle has not been subject to a technical inspection by us and not all equipment has been tested. It may have latent faults that we did not detect during the test drive. You may view the vehicle in person before placing a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
