How to place bids

The lot is sold by increment bids in an online auction held on www.huutokaupat.com during 24 April–15 May 2026. Participation in the auction requires registration. The bidding deadline ends at 13:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid.

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the service provider's system functionality. The highest bid is the one the service provider's system has accepted as the highest. The enforcement officer will decide separately whether to accept or reject the highest bid.

If it is not possible to submit purchase bids through the huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may submit a written purchase offer to the enforcement authority, which will be attached to the online auction as the maximum bid according to the automatic increment system. The written offer must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum amount of the bid and the www.huutokaupat.com lot number to which the offer relates. A written purchase offer is binding and the same conditions apply to it as to the online auction. The offer must be submitted no later than 12:00 on 13 May 2026 to the Enforcement Authority's Kotka office, address Vuorikatu 5C, 48100 KOTKA, or by e-mail to kouvola.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to terminate the sale or extend the sale period.

Offers placed in the online auction are binding. If an offer is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the stated payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer's liability for compensation under Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

Payment terms

If the highest bid is accepted, the buyer must immediately pay the full purchase price into the Enforcement Authority's official account. Payment details will be provided after acceptance of the offer. The Enforcement Authority will contact the bidder whose bid has been accepted. The highest bidder must state on whose behalf the bid was made. Otherwise the highest bidder will be regarded as the buyer.

If payment is not made within the specified time, the buyer must pay default interest on the entire purchase price in accordance with Section 4(1) of the Interest Act until the purchase price has been paid or a new sale has been carried out. The current default interest rate is 9.50%.

Obligations and rights transferred to the buyer

The lot is located in Kotka and the buyer must collect the vehicle immediately at their own expense from the place of sale once the purchase offer has been accepted and the purchase price paid. The time shall be agreed separately with the enforcement senior inspector handling the matter. In addition, any vehicle taxes that fall due during the sale will become the buyer's responsibility.

Other information

The property is seized and sold by a public sale conducted by the enforcement officer in accordance with the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code, where applicable. The sales brochure is indicative and is not a comprehensive description of the lot.

The lot will be handed over to the buyer after payment of the purchase price, at which point ownership transfers to the buyer. A certificate of acquisition will be given to the buyer. The buyer must collect the vehicle immediately at their own expense from the place of sale once the purchase offer has been accepted and the purchase price paid.
