Terms of sale

The property is seized and is sold by private sale arranged by the enforcement officer in accordance with section 76 of Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code, and subject to the general auction terms set out in the Enforcement Code. The enforcement officer may accept or reject the highest bid in the auction. Further details are provided in the sales prospectus.

Bids relate to the purchase price to be paid to the Enforcement Authority. Any other obligations transferring to the buyer are listed in the sales prospectus under "obligations and rights transferring to the buyer".

Bids are binding. If an accepted bid is made, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer's liability to compensate under section 25 of Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code.
