Log semi-detached cottage 37 m² with open-plan kitchen/living room, sleeping alcove, sauna, bathroom and WC.

Sleeps six (two in a double bed, two in a bunk bed and two extra beds from a sofa bed).

The unit includes bedlinen and towels, fitted kitchen, crockery for six, drying cabinet, fireplace and firewood, TV, radio, CD player and internet connection.

Clear, crisp autumn days are perfect for hiking. On your trips you might spot double northern lights reflecting beautifully from lakes and mountain pools — an experience you won’t get in winter!

The Salla fell area has 100 km of marked hiking trails with several lean-tos and huts supplied with firewood. If you’re interested in birds, the area hosts about a hundred bog and forest bird species. Nearby are also Northern Europe’s largest wilderness areas: Naruska, Oulanka National Park and Tuntsa, which is considered one of Europe’s finest hiking destinations.

During your holiday you can enjoy good food. Whether you go to an à la carte restaurant, a kotaravintola or a café, you’ll enjoy tasty meals in a relaxed atmosphere. There are pubs and live music for after-ski vibes.

The Salla sports centre at the foot of the fell offers year-round indoor activities. Play badminton, floorball, tennis, volleyball, frisbee golf or try the trampoline. There is a playroom for children.

The centre of Salla now also has a new bowling alley.

You can also join a guided wilderness skills trip or adventure safari. On canoeing safaris you’ll experience the silence of wilderness rivers, and on a skills trip you’ll learn to build and sleep in a lean-to. Other highlights in Lapland include gold panning, as well as traditional pastimes such as berry picking, mushrooming, fishing and hunting.

Salla is known for its wartime history. Winter War battlefields and memorials are found around the municipality. The war left marks in the landscape, and wartime items and trenches can still be found.

Owning your holiday week means carefree holidays. As an owner you gain a share in the holiday property. Holiday Club takes care of maintenance and cleaning, and supplies bedlinen so you can focus on enjoying your holiday.

Maintenance fee 2026:

€244.20 / year.

The maintenance fee covers final cleaning, bedlinen, towels, consumables, upkeep of the unit and grounds, purchases and repairs, heating, firewood, electricity, water, insurance, property tax, waste management, maintenance and emergency services, reception and key services, property management and administration, etc.

If you can’t use the week yourself, renting the cottage is easy — just notify reception who will collect the keys.

The buyer will have the right to use the share from week 36/2026 starting Sat 29 Aug 2026 – Sat 5 Sep 2026.

Check-in 16:00 and check-out 10:00.
