Former Koria Pioneer School, owned by the City of Kouvola and located on the Kymi River in Koria, is looking for a new owner and developer. A solid concrete/brick building with moderate renovations carried out over the years. The property, designed by Olavi Sortta in 1936, awaits new ideas. The zoning plan allows various uses for the building. Previously proposed ideas include residential conversion. The building's protection designation means it may not be demolished, nor may repairs or alterations be made that would damage the architectural or historical value of the façades and roofs.
