For sale: Former Kiikois health centre

For sale: a property that has operated as a health centre, located in Kiikois, Sastamala, near Lake Kiikoisjärvi. The building plot is an approx. 2,800 m2 partition of the parcel Kankainen 790-575-1-159 at Kiikostentie 320. No private shoreline, but the shore at the property is for shared use and includes, among other things, boat spaces.

The building consists of two parts built at different times; the old part was built in 1952 and the extension in 1984. The old part has spaces on three levels: a basement, an office level and a residential floor. There is also an unheated attic. The residential floor contains two apartments. The extension has one above-ground storey that has been used as a health centre. The gross floor area of the old part is approx. 325 m2 and the extension approx. 445 m2. The building is heated by an oil-fired water-circulation system. The boiler room and shared sauna and wash facilities are in the basement of the old part. The oil tank is buried outside the building. The building is currently empty except for one office room. The office tenancy transfers to the new owner in the sale.

The building has a concrete slab on ground; load-bearing walls in the basement are concrete and the intermediate floors are concrete structures. The extension's exterior walls are brick–insulation–brick constructions. The old part's exterior walls are also brick, but the insulation is not certain. The extension's roof structures are mainly timber and those of the old part are concrete. The roof-bearing structures are timber.

Partial basic renovation was carried out on the old part in the late 1980s, when building services (heating, ventilation, plumbing and electrical), internal layout changes and structural repairs were carried out. Renewed elements include, for example, windows and external doors, surface finishes and facade cladding. The roof covering was replaced with tile similar to that of the extension. Some floor coverings and sanitary fittings in the extension have also been renewed since its completion.
