The plots are offered for sale without a reserve price. The property will be sold, after the auction ends, to the highest bidder. However, the municipality reserves the right, for justified reasons, to discontinue the sale procedure, reject bids or not sell the property.
Bids must be submitted by the specified time. Bids are submitted electronically through the Huutokaupat.com system. The auction may also be attended in person by submitting a bid to the seller on site. The seller and buyer undertake to record all bids in the system.
The highest bidder must, within 3 days of the auction ending, pay a deposit of €500 (five hundred euros) into the account designated by the municipality. If the highest bid for the plot is less than €500, the part of the deposit exceeding the purchase price will be refunded. The deposit will not be refunded if the sale is cancelled for a reason not attributable to the seller. The deposit will be credited in full against the plot’s purchase price.
By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts these terms of sale and Huutokaupat.com’s current auction terms.
