For sale: BMW 530d Touring LCI (E61), equipped with a 3.0-litre M57 diesel engine (173 kW / 235 hp) and a Sport automatic transmission.

The car was imported to Finland from Italy in 2018 and has been in Finland for a long time. BMW’s six-cylinder M57 engine has earned a reputation in the automotive world as an extremely durable and reliable workhorse.

The MOT is valid for a long time, with the next inspection due in approximately 10 months.

The service history is available from Italy up to 218,000 km at an authorised dealer. In Finland, the car has had, among other things, the transmission oil and filter changed, as well as xHP programming (at 237,000 km) and the thermostats replaced (231,000 km). There are no separate service-book entries for the later period, but the previous owner stated that the oil was changed approximately every 10,000 km.

The car comes with just one set of tyres: Nankang studded winter tyres on alloy wheels, with plenty of tread remaining. There are no summer tyres.

For its age and mileage, the body is surprisingly tidy, although there are some imperfections: there is rust on the tailgate below the glass, and the paintwork has normal wear and superficial scratches. Inside, the light-coloured leather upholstery is slightly darkened and the driver’s seat has a tear. There are dirt/oil marks on the boot trim. The parking sensors display a fault and do not work. The windscreen is intact and the panoramic glass roof works flawlessly.

During the test drive, the car appeared to operate normally: it still has plenty of pull and power, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the car did not pull to either side or jerk during the test drive.
