I have owned the Nissan since January 2026 and originally bought it as a temporary vehicle while another car was being repaired.


Following a broken driveshaft, the driver’s-side driveshaft was replaced. At the same time, it was decided to replace the differential seals for both driveshafts and the clutch kit.

An oil change was also carried out, the driver’s door lock barrel repaired, the airbag clock spring replaced inside the steering wheel, and the repair notice issued at the inspection for the electric window switch was rectified.

Defects and other observations

Smoking has taken place in the car, leaving an odour and marks in the interior. There is a hole in the driver’s seat, which is also typically torn at the side. There are smoking-related marks on the steering wheel and above the driver’s window. A couple of buttons have come off the radio and the glove compartment is slightly loose, but stays closed.


There are scratches and dents on the exterior. The windscreen has a couple of stone chips, and the headlamp units are slightly scratched and cloudy; these were not commented on at the inspection. The starter motor makes a slight squeak with a cold engine, but works normally.
