BMW E39 523i

  • Dirty in the photos.

  • At some point in its life, the car was repainted in the same colour. Paintwork is acceptable, but not perfect.

  • The passenger-side wing needs attention; minor surface rust on the boot lid and rear arches.

  • Mechanically a full 10. The body has covered 450,000 km; the engine was replaced with one that had covered 250,000–270,000 km.

  • The car is currently off the road.

  • MOT expired in July 2025.

  • The sills were welded and loose suspension arms replaced for the previous MOT.

  • Service records are in the glove compartment.

  • I drove the car for approximately 5,000 km before it was taken off the road in October 2025, and it remains off the road.

Declared off the road from 31 October 2025.
