A late-1980s Taiwanese 2-axis CNC lathe, YAM CK-2, being sold as it is being taken out of service. Everything works except the interior light no longer comes on. The spindle and gearbox are very quiet. The machine has a 2-speed gearbox, so it can also handle larger drills, while operating with small fuses. It is currently protected by 20 A circuit breakers, but would presumably also work with 16 A type D breakers or plug fuses. The control is an old traditional Fanuc 10T, which accepts clean G-code directly. A data connection to a PC is available, allowing programming on a computer.

A reasonable quantity of basic tools and inserts included with the machine.

The machine was used for a long time at a vocational college before being decommissioned, and has been operated for only approximately 750 hours.
