Toyota Corolla ** Timing belt replaced / Air conditioning **, 1999, Oulu

Low-mileage nineties classic Toyota Corolla 1.6 (1999) – Timing belt just replaced!

Looking for a bomb-proof car that will not let you down and whose running costs will not cause concern? Now up for auction is a true motoring icon and a trusted Finnish workhorse: a 1999 Toyota Corolla with a lively and highly durable 1.6-litre petrol engine. This example has covered just 152,000 kilometres for its age!

This Corolla is equipped with exactly the features genuinely needed in Finland’s variable conditions, while offering a touch of luxury for a late-nineties car. Best of all, the car’s most critical service has just been completed, allowing the new owner to focus on carefree driving. Nineties Corollas are world-famous for lasting from one generation to the next – and in terms of mileage, this example is only at the beginning of its life. The car was involved in some kind of accident in 2019 and was consequently taken off the road, but has been back in use since 2020 and works excellently!

Why is this Corolla definitely worth bidding on?

• Exceptionally low mileage: Only 152,000 km! Truly exceptional figures for a 1999 car.

• Reliable 1.6 petrol engine: Toyota’s acclaimed powerplant moves the car effortlessly and keeps mechanical worries at bay.

• Timing belt replaced: According to the service book, the previous owner had the timing belt replaced only around 6 months ago. A major and often expensive service has therefore recently been completed on this example!

• Air conditioning: A real rarity in a car of this age, making summer journeys enjoyable.

• Tow bar: Towing a trailer, taking away garden waste or carrying a bicycle rack is effortless.

• Engine block heater: Ensures engine-friendly, warm starts even in the harshest winter frosts.

This is honest, straightforward motoring at its best: inexpensive to run and incredibly reliable to drive. Corollas from the turn of the millennium with such low mileage, air conditioning and a recently replaced timing belt simply do not come along often!
