Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we made the following observations:


  • The car feels mechanically sound. It drives well, tracks straight and there are no unusual noises from the suspension.
    The engine sounds good and retains its power. The clutch works normally for the car’s age. The clutch feels slightly juddery between first and second gear. All gears engage easily.
    The brakes work well, with no unusual vibrations. It has just passed its MOT, so no major repairs should be required.
    During the 30-minute test drive, the exhaust note changed slightly. Looking underneath the car, the rear silencer was quite rusty; I would guess it has a hole, although this has not been investigated.

  • Marks on the bodywork and interior as shown in the pictures.
