Sold new in Finland to company executive Antti Hurinkki in Tampere, after which it went to Autoset Alanen in the Helsinki metropolitan area to be used as an advertising and show car.

The car was painted in the colours of the American flag in Stockholm, after which it toured shows in that livery.

V-76 Auto sold the car to Kuopio, where it was painted in its current colour in 1979–1981. Apart from the roof having been repainted, the paintwork dates from that period and is beautifully patinated and tidy.

The car had been stored out of sight in a warm space since the early 2000s and was returned to the road in 2025 after its mechanical components were replaced following the owner’s death.

What sets this apart from other Park Lanes:

Engine and drivetrain:

The engine is a Chevrolet L96 V8, manufactured between 2010 and 2017 and known as the Gen 4 version. This engine was factory-fitted with stronger components than earlier engine models.

- The engine block has been completely re-machined.

- Cylinders bored to 4.005-inch oversize.

- Head faces skimmed and crankshaft alignment measured.

- Eight piston oil-cooling jets installed in the block.

- Forged DSS pistons, compression ratio 9.5:1.

- GM Gen 4 connecting rods, rated for over 1,000 bhp.

- Original GM crankshaft; camshaft, lifters and timing set completely renewed.

- Modified sump, capacity approximately 7 litres.

- LS3-type cylinder heads, fully ported, with new valves; flow approximately 323 cfm.

- Holley single-plane intake manifold with an elbow before the mechanical 87 mm throttle body.

- Fuel rails with eight Bosch EV14 1,200 cc injectors.

- Eight new LS7 ignition coils.

- Special spark-plug leads with titanium heat-protective sleeves.

- New water pump, alternator, starter motor and power-steering pump.

- Completely new radiator and intercooler with hoses.

- All fuel lines and pumps use aircraft-grade AN fittings and ethanol-resistant Teflon hoses.

- Fitech 70050.1 engine management, also controlling the transmission.

- GM 4L80 transmission, completely rebuilt and strengthened.

- Four-inch aluminium propeller shaft, reinforced with carbon fibre.

- Ford 9-inch rear axle with 3.55:1 gearing and a new limited-slip differential.

- Completely new Holset HX55 turbocharger with a four-inch downpipe; exhaust pipes are stainless steel.

- Many small components have been replaced, including fuel lines, electrical regulators, pumps, filters and fans. The cabin-heater pipes are not currently fitted due to the lack of space in the engine bay. It would be easy to fabricate bends if desired. The car has not been used in winter.

The car has otherwise been kept in its original condition, including its superb original interior.

The car is rust-free.

The body is galvanised.

Chromed engine-bay components, etc.

The car has been assessed by Classic Data as condition grade 2.

According to the report, the car’s general European market value is €83,400; the report is included and this is also the insurance value.
