Just inspected with no remarks and simultaneously inspected and registered as a historic vehicle; next inspection in 2030.

“S2.5” model combining the classic design of the old body shape, arguably the best 4.7-litre engine variant, and S4 driving characteristics. This is a rare and sought-after factory-original intermediate model, produced for only a short time before the official introduction of the S4.

One of the last cars with the old body shape, already factory-equipped with the suspension components, height-adjustable suspension, large brake discs and four-piston Brembo callipers of the 928 S4 introduced the following year, as well as the S4 twin exhaust system and more.

European model, sold new in Sweden. Equipment includes shorter gearing (M251), available only on cars for Sweden, Switzerland and Austria.

Driving characteristics are on a completely different level compared with the old S2 model.

Major service in 5/2023, including replacement of the timing belt, rollers, water pump (LASO), belt tensioner piston and seal, coolant, brake fluid, spark plugs and fuel hoses. The MAF was cleaned and the earth points checked.

Most recently, engine oil and filter were changed in 6/2025. The oil should be changed during the winter, although only approximately 500 km have been driven since the last change.

In addition to servicing, many parts have been renewed in recent years, including the steering rack, radiator, brake components, windscreen, wipers, gearbox oil, driver’s window motor and relay, bonnet and tailgate gas struts, heater water valve, numerous small parts; the paintwork has been machine-polished, etc.

The interior naturally shows signs of wear, but the dashboard has no cracks. The seats are intact and the adjustments work. The underside has been undersealed and is clean.

A rare example without a sunroof; the headlining was professionally renewed by Classic car upholsterers in 2023.

Imported from Sweden in 2010 and owned by me since spring 2022. Used only in summer; otherwise kept in a warm garage as an object of enjoyment.
