In short... the car came to me on 11 January 2026, and considerable work has been carried out since then. A list is provided below.

The vehicle inspection is valid until 7 March 2027. At the next inspection, it will receive a 2-year inspection validity.

+ The vehicle is a 7-seater passenger car.

+ Two sets of tyres are included. The summer tyres still have life left, and the winter tyres are studded tyres used for a few winters, as shown in the photos. The winter tyres are Bridgestone Noranza 245/70 R16, date code 0919, with 9.5 mm tread.

+ The rear of the chassis has been welded extensively. The longitudinal chassis rails have been repaired from the rear doors backwards, and all soft material encountered was removed. The fuel-tank support beam was also replaced because the old one had rusted through. More than 3 kg of welding wire was used, so a substantial amount of metal has been renewed.

+ The oils and filters were changed less than 500 km ago.

+ The timing belt service was carried out less than 500 km ago.

+ The fuel filter was replaced and fuel lines renewed.

+ The vehicle has a reinforced gearbox, namely a Mitsubishi Canter gearbox.

+ The injectors and injector return pipe have been replaced.

+ A second 4D56 spare engine is included. It was previously fitted to the car but started running on oil and was replaced. A standard small gearbox is also included.

+ The speedometer was not working when the car came to me. I replaced the instrument cluster with one showing more mileage, but the actual mileage is unknown.

+ A pile of spare parts may also be included, such as an alternator, power-steering unit, injectors, mirrors, etc.

+ The turbocharger is a Toyota C26 type. There is some turbo lag, but once it spools up, it pulls well...

- The engine’s exhaust-side rocker assembly failed and needs to be replaced. It is not an expensive repair, but refitting the timing belt is the biggest job.

- The passenger-side hub lock bangs when reversing with four-wheel drive engaged.

- The glow plugs and glow-plug relays should be replaced. (It started poorly because they were not working, which is why the engine rockers failed.)

- The rear side windows have been tinted with tinting spray.

The car is not new, so there may be further faults. This list covers most of the work carried out and the known faults.
