Defects and other observations

During a short test drive, we made the following observations:

  • The car previously operated normally, but during the latest test drive at motorway speed the gearbox stopped changing gear and the trip computer displayed “Transmission malfunction”. The fault is in the clutch or gearbox; this has not been investigated further.

  • The car can be moved under its own power; it jerks when in gear but is driveable.

  • The battery is flat, the Webasto does not start and the parking sensors do not work. The Webasto remote has been flashing and the parking sensor light is flashing on the dashboard, so the faults may be due to the 12 V battery having a low charge. This has not been investigated further.

  • The reversing camera is aftermarket and is fitted with double-sided tape.

  • The equipment and the rest of the car are otherwise functional!

    The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection by us, and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It may have hidden faults that we did not detect during the test drive. You may inspect the car more closely before making a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
