Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we made the following observations:

  • The car feels mechanically sound. It drives well, goes straight and there are no unusual knocks from the suspension.
The engine sounds good and retains its power. The clutch operates normally for the car’s age. The clutch feels slightly juddery between first and second gear. All gears engage easily.
The brakes work well, with no unusual vibration. It has just passed its MOT, so no major work should be required.
During the 30-minute test drive, the exhaust note changed slightly. When we looked underneath the car, the rear silencer was fairly rusty; we suspect it has a hole, but this has not been investigated.

  • Marks on the bodywork and interior as shown in the pictures.

We have not carried out a technical condition inspection of the car, nor tested the operation of all equipment. The car may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive and inspection. However, we disclose all known information about every vehicle. It is possible to come and test-drive the car and inspect it more closely on site.

The car has not undergone a special condition check by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It might have hidden faults that we did not find during the test drive. It is possible to inspect the car in more detail before making a binding offer. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
