Nissan X-TRAIL, 2006, Salo

For sale: Nissan X-Trail for repair or spare parts. Metal shavings were found in the sump at the workshop, and diagnosis was stopped there. The receipt for this is shown in the photos. The car was driven carefully approximately 20 km home from the workshop. Driving it is in no way recommended, however, as the engine may fail during the journey.

The car has friction tyres on alloy wheels. Based on the tread, they are unlikely to pass inspection as winter tyres any longer. The fuel gauge sometimes shows random readings, possibly due to the float being incorrectly fitted in the tank. The tank is almost empty. Dog-owning household.

The car is 20 years old and has age-related wear; not everything may have been remembered here. Before the engine fault, it was used normally.

The car was imported from Germany in 2018 and has remained within the same family since then. Extras include a sunroof, leather upholstery and satellite navigation (does not include a Finnish map).

Various replacement parts have been fitted in recent years (in addition to routine oil changes, etc.):

2026: Rear shock absorbers, radiator, rear anti-roll bar links, brake light switch, front shock absorbers

2025: Starter motor, crankshaft position sensor, centre exhaust silencer, fuel filter, fuel pump, rear subframe
