Now at auction: the legendary Volvo V70 with a reliable D5 engine and manual gearbox!

This is an original Finnish car with a clean history (no accident history). It came to us as a trade-in from its previous owner, directly from daily use when they moved to a roomier vehicle.

Condition and notes:

See the YouTube video I filmed for a more detailed walk-through of the car and its condition.

• Body: In normal condition for its age and mileage. The surfaces show natural wear and signs of use, such as scratches, small dents and rust. The front lights are cloudy and the driver’s-side front fog light does not work.

• Windscreen: Clear, intact and in relatively near-new condition.

• Interior: Generally tidy and odour-free (non-smoking, with no animal odours). The left seam on the driver’s seat backrest is torn (someone handy with a needle could repair it). Otherwise, the interior only shows natural wear; I did not notice anything else broken.
  
  Tyres

Included are 2 sets of tyres in excellent condition on alloy wheels:

• Summer tyres: Excellent condition, tread depth 7 mm on each tyre (manufactured in 2024).

• Winter tyres (studded): Excellent condition, sharp studs intact (manufactured in 2025).

Service history

The service book is included.

• Latest service: 2 September 2026 / 501,000 km

• Vacuum pump & brake servo replaced: 7 July 2026 / 500,000 km

• Timing belt replaced: 12 March 2021 / 406,000 km

Test-drive observations

During the test drive, the car works normally and provides a very comfortable, smooth ride:

• The engine runs smoothly without unusual noises, and the power is all there.

• The gearbox and clutch work normally, and the gears change smoothly.

• No extra knocking noises come from the suspension.

• The car is easy and pleasant to drive.
  
  Observed faults/shortcomings

• The body has wear, rust, scratches/small dents.

• The driver’s-side front fog light does not work.

• The front lights are cloudy.

• The driver’s seat is torn on the left side of the backrest at the seam; there is also normal interior wear.
