Considering its age and mileage, the car is in very good cosmetic condition; the body panels are straight apart from a small dent in the passenger door. No visible rust and the car has an attractive overall appearance.

• Partial service history. Some work was carried out privately and not recorded. In recent years, considerable sums have been spent on items such as the boost hose and front shock absorbers.

• Timing belt replaced at 273,000 km (January 2020)

Faults—an older car is bound to have some.

• The trip computer warns of a low coolant level; this has been confirmed to be due to a low coolant level.

• The bonnet gas struts are worn and do not support the bonnet

• The tailgate is in two sections; the lower section is jammed.

• Cracked windscreen on the driver's side. Visible in the photos

• Something unusual with the steering. When turning the steering wheel back and forth with the wheels straight, a soft knock can be heard from the steering or suspension and felt through the wheel. This may be due to play in suspension joints or another steering-related issue.

• The trip computer indicates that servicing is required

The inspection history is nothing to be particularly ashamed of, although there will surely be something to work on before the next pass.
