Volvo S40, 2008, Säkylä

Volvo S40 (2008), sold directly from use. Removed from road use on 9 October 2026.

• Being sold because the particulate filter is now blocked and I am not interested in replacing it.

• As a result, the engine’s reduced performance and stability control service lights are currently illuminated.

No other faults are currently known. The car has been serviced regularly and the other parts are fully intact. The steering wheel was retrofitted by me, including the addition of cruise control and radio buttons. The car therefore has a new steering wheel with buttons and cruise control. The previous owner installed tint films, but these have been removed. Both number plates were replaced in May. Rust repairs have been carried out on the entire car, so it should be relatively rust-free, at least on the visible body panels. Bright LED lights have been installed inside in place of the old lights, and in the front indicators as well. The side-mirror indicators have been completely replaced.

The rear shock absorbers and springs were replaced in September. The other basic servicing was carried out in May. Timing belt service at 303,000 km. Plenty of time remains before the next inspection.

The car comes with two sets of tyres, both on alloy wheels. Both have a moderate amount of tread remaining. The winter wheels were painted once by previous owners.

The car has otherwise served well and is waiting for its next owner. Sold to the next enthusiast willing to carry out repairs!
