  • This is a single-owner Finnish Golf Variant R, used for long-distance driving.

  • The car has been very well serviced and cared for, including DSG and Haldex oil changes along the way as required. SERVICE HISTORY DOCUMENTED - SEE PHOTOS/ATTACHMENTS

  • Timing chain replaced in 2023 / approx. 200,000 km

  • The gearbox works as it should, does not stall on hills when reversing or hesitate when setting off.

  • The previous owner mainly drove the car on longer trips. It feels very good to drive.

  • The car has also been driven by us for about 800 km, and oil consumption during this journey was about 0.7 l. So it uses oil at just under 1 l/1000 km.

  • Two sets of tyres on their own rims, still in fairly good condition. SEE PHOTOS

  • Just inspected. The inspection note concerns the rear light on the passenger side (part in the boot from a breaker, approx. €100).

  • Warning for parking sensors at the front. Rear sensors work. 1 sensor faulty?

Defects and other observations

On a short test drive we observed the following:

  • The car feels good to drive. The gearbox works as it should and the power is there

  • Squeaking from the front passenger side in dry weather. Top mount of the shock absorber? Quieter in damp weather

  • Driven by us approx. 800 km, during which oil consumption was ABOUT 0.7 l.

  • At first glance you would not believe the car has covered 275,000 km.

    The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It may have hidden defects that we did not notice during the test drive. You are welcome to inspect the car more closely before placing a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
