An off-road Toyota used for safari driving.


It has been used by us for years on safari trips and was driven this summer as well.


The car runs well mechanically for its age.


The frame is in good condition and it is not rotten otherwise either - the photos give a fairly good idea.


The wheel arches have been enlarged by about 5 cm so 38" tyres fit and have been welded properly.


The exhaust has been cut because of the tyres, otherwise it would not turn properly at the front - a solid sound 😎


I listed the model year as 1988, I'm not completely sure about that, but it is a turbo 2.2 l diesel engine.


The known faults are that the heater blower motor has been removed for use in another car, so it is missing. The glow plug does not always come on immediately, but it does start well.

(The issue may just be partly weak batteries at times.)


The car came to me without plates, but the previous registration number is known.


However, it is sold with a transfer certificate showing the chassis number.


There is an unbroken chain of transfer documents if someone is interested in building it for registration.


The car has been repaired for safari use and is functional; the brakes, alternator etc. are likely a few years old.
