Tristan 870 motor boat / motor cruiser and valuable tractor-towed trailer – Excellent project boat for restoration, Espoo

For sale is the Finnish classic shown in the pictures, a Tristan 870 motor boat in project condition. The boat is sold as is and offers an excellent base for a skilled boating enthusiast to restore it to its former glory. The interior needs finishing, as do the upholstery. The engine should also be checked.

The boat sits on the trailer of a large tractor, which is included in the sale. The trailer is approximately 6 metres long.

The trailer is at least partly hydraulic.

Details and equipment (interior and helm):

• Model: Tristan 870

• Helm: Equipped with a traditional wooden steering wheel, blue leather-trimmed driver and passenger seats, and a Tristan 870 control panel.

• Accommodation: Spacious cabin in the bow and stern with wooden panelling. Some mattresses and cushions are included, with varying condition (some need replacing/reupholstering).

• Living area: Inside there is a dining area and seats with storage underneath.

The official and typical dimensions of the Tristan 870 are:

• Length: 8.70 metres

• Width: 3.00 metres

• Draft: approximately 0.85 metres

• Weight: approximately 3,200 kg (empty weight without cargo)

Condition notes / project base:
The boat has been standing and is sold as a project. The interior, wooden parts and surfaces need restoration, cleaning and sanding. The buyer is responsible for checking the condition of the boat, identifying any missing parts, and arranging removal and transport. A lot of boat-related items are included, including a valuable radar system.

Collection instructions:

The items are located at Hylkeenpyytäjäntie 9, Espoo. Drive through the gate over the speed bump and turn immediately left from the first or second driveway/gap. Look for the large red Scania lorry as a landmark. The item is located by the lorry.

MANDATORY COLLECTION TERMS

Due to a tight schedule, the items can only be collected on 2 October 2026 between 9:00 and 16:00.

Collection must take place within the deadline – no extensions!

Collection must always be agreed in advance by phone, not by text message! You can call between 7:30 and 22:00.

The customer is responsible for moving and carrying the items. We will assist as best we can.

Please make sure you are able to collect the items before you bid.

The buyer will receive more information by asking the phone number sent to the email.

Uncollected items will be recycled without exception; the item can no longer be collected after the specified collection date.
