For sale: Caterpillar C7 marine diesel engine. The engine was removed during an upgrade repair from a marine rescue vessel with waterjet propulsion in late 2023 and has been in storage since then. For storage, the engine oil and filters have been changed. The engine has approx. 1,900 operating hours and was acquired in 2005.

The engine was dismantled while working, but the item in this auction is sold as decommissioned scrap without any warranty, in the condition and with the accessories it has at the time of sale. The engine is old and used and may contain hidden defects. The sale does not include gauges, controls or the wiring harnesses between the engine and the helm station. No marine gearbox is included.

The seller accepts no responsibility for any missing components, drawings or calculations related to the installation or use of the engine. The seller accepts no responsibility for the product's suitability for any intended use by the buyer, or for any possible registration requirements.

The buyer is responsible for collection and transport of the engine after the sale. The engine must be collected by 5 October 2026 at 13:00 at the latest. If the auction item is not collected by the buyer by the deadline, the item will revert to the seller's property and any purchase price already paid will not be refunded.
