Seaworthy Coronet 21 Open that has been given a new lease of life, as the original inboard engine and stern drive combination has been replaced with a reliable Honda BF150A 150 hp four-stroke outboard. The conversion combines Coronet's legendary handling with the economy, reliability, easy servicing and lower running costs of a modern outboard engine. The engine has run for approximately 840 h


The well-known Coronet hull offers a stable, soft and pleasant ride even in slightly rougher conditions. The large open deck provides excellent conditions for fishing, transporting cargo and relaxed time on board. There is plenty of space to move around, and if needed it can be closed fully under the canopy for shelter from the weather.


The boat is safe and easy to handle, making it an excellent choice as a connector boat, for day trips, fishing and leisure boating.


The boat has had its seasonal service, and the impeller has also been replaced.


The previous owner had the boat built for himself without sparing expenses, and according to what has been said the boat cost him nearly EUR 50,000.

The trailer is not included in the sale.

Defects and other observations

The boat is otherwise operational and the engine runs normally. However, the engine is mounted a little too high, which means that at the highest speeds it does not get enough cooling water.

Temperatures only rise when running at full throttle continuously for a long time. In normal use and at lower revs, no overheating problem has been observed.

There are two ways to fix the issue: the engine can be lowered slightly to improve cooling water intake, or an additional water intake can be installed on the engine so that the engine position does not need to be changed.

So the issue is sufficient cooling water supply to the engine at top speeds. Otherwise the boat is operational.

The boat has not been technically inspected by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It may have hidden defects that we did not notice during the test drive. It is possible to come and inspect the boat more closely before placing a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
