Defects and other observations
During the test drive we made the following observations:
A car that feels good to drive and has just passed MOT. The body is in neat condition and comes in a striking red colour. The car has two good sets of tyres on their own wheels.
As a downside, the engine sound sometimes becomes uneven. We carried out a walnut blasting of the intake valves, which improved the operation slightly. A leak-down test was also done and cylinder 1 had 90% leakage --> it blows pressure into the crankcase, so the engine has an internal fault
Windshield replaced by us
With two sets of tyres: winter tyres are good-condition studded Hankooks with about 7-8 mm tread, summer tyres about 6 mm, both on alloy wheels.
