Here is an auction Volvo V70 with the reliable and well-regarded D5 diesel engine. The car passed inspection on 3.9.2026 (inspection valid until 9/2027).

Service history and mechanics

• Imported from Sweden, registered in Finland on 19.9.2018. In Finland it has had only one private owner (11.10.2018 – 9.9.2026).

• Regularly serviced, entries in the service book (see photos).

• Latest service: 5.8.2026 / 434,000 km. The car currently shows a service message because the service interval display was not reset during the service.

• Timing belt replaced: 25.3.2025 / 415,000 km.

• Engine replaced: On 28.6.2024, the engine with 266,000 km was replaced after the previous engine was damaged due to a serpentine belt failure.

Body and interior condition:

• Wear from age and mileage: dents, scratches and rust on the body (visible in the photos).

• Windshield intact, only small stone chips.

• Interior clean and intact, normal wear on seats, steering wheel, etc.

• Fresh and odour-free interior (non-smoking, no animals).

• Although the body is no longer in the most presentable condition, this car still has a long life ahead of it for someone. This engine is built to last and is one of the best and most respected in the automotive world!

  
  

Tyres:

• Summer tyres: Continental (DOT 2024), on alloy wheels, tread approx. 4 mm.

• Winter tyres: Friction tyres on alloy wheels (uneven wear, need replacing).

Test drive observations:

• I test drove this Volvo myself. I have a similar Volvo and this felt the same as mine, except in this one the steering wheel is lighter than in my car. The engine starts nicely and there are no unusual noises from the engine, and it runs smoothly. The transmission works as normal, gears change smoothly. There were no extra rattles or knocks from the suspension. These Volvos are really nice to drive, they go like a bullet train and there is enough power. So there is nothing bad to say about the handling - good driveability all round!

  
  

Observed faults/deficiencies:

• The car currently shows a service message because the service interval display was not reset during the service.

• Winter tyres need replacing.

• Body has plenty of dents, scratches and rust.

• Interior has wear from age.

• At inspection, a repair advisory was issued for the left front fog light; it does not work.
