IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE CAR’S MECHANICAL CONDITION (Mechanical fault)

The car is sold clearly as having an engine fault / for repair:

• Fluid loss and smoke: The engine was missing about 4 litres of coolant and just over a litre of engine oil. It starts very poorly. After starting, a lot of white steam/smoke comes from the exhaust, which turns bluish after a short idle.

• Cylinder condition: The spark plugs have been removed and the cylinders inspected with an endoscope camera. Marks/wear caused by overheating and lack of lubrication are visible in the cylinder liners.

• Recommendation: The primary repair recommendation is an engine swap, as simply replacing the head gasket may still leave oil consumption due to cylinder damage.

BODY & EXTERIOR CONDITION

• Overall impression: A very tidy and attractive whole for its age.

• Bumpers: The front and rear bumpers are slightly different shades due to natural sun fading of the plastic parts.

• Signs of use: Early rust and minor paint flaking at the upper edge of the tailgate (normal for a car of this age).
