The first C-Class, a proper machine, perhaps even as a winter runabout! The ride is so good it could even do as a main car. On the road it really is excellent, considering it didn't roll out of the factory last week. In all honesty, I haven't driven many -90s cars, but if they are all like this, I'd gladly drive them! The ride is smooth, it accelerates nicely and the engine sounds healthy. The gears slot in nicely and the suspension feels tight on the road. I drove over a few bumps and there was nothing to complain about. The body is pretty rough, as the pictures show. MOT is in a couple of weeks; it has not been inspected, so it's hard to say whether it will pass. The previous owner had looked underneath a bit to see whether it would need welding, and thought probably not. Of course, this is not an official diagnosis. On the road it doesn't seem to have anything sudden that would make it fail, but again, that's just a gut feeling. Apparently the oil was last changed earlier this year. It comes with only one set of tyres and wheels, studded winter tyres. It has come straight from daily use.
