Arctic Hot Tub! No more drinks warmed in the water

Who would want to sip drinks that have warmed up in the tub? Nobody! That is why Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's hot tub designers have created integrated trays with drink holders for the Arctic Hot Tub. The tray does not only serve as a waiting lounge for tub beers, ciders, lemonades and cocktails, but you can also place mood candles and lanterns on it. The tray is also excellent for children's tub activities, as swimming goggles and toys can be put down there during breaks from diving. Its versatility is limited only by the imagination, so the tray is truly multifunctional. You can even place earrings or a smart watch in the drink openings if you are not sure whether they are water-resistant. Even if you are not supposed to keep track of time while bathing, it is handy to check the time on the phone resting on the tray. The eight drink recesses are enough for even a larger group of bathers.

Innovative design – square-oval shape

We decided to combine two beautiful design languages into one and created the square-oval shape for Arctic Hot Tub. This design speaks both the language of practicality and beauty. The shape makes the trays possible and gives the traditional round hot tub form some extra presence. Arctic Hot Tub fits excellently with Finnish uprightness and straight-backedness. However, the sharp corners of the Finnish marsh, hoe and Jussi ideology have been rounded off, as nobody needs to be tense in a hot tub. Although the tub is called Arctic, we recommend heating the water before getting in.

The easy-to-use, versatile Step In stair

You would not think that one plastic step can do so much, but it really can. We have designed the Step In step that makes getting into the tub easier specifically for the Arctic Hot Tub. Naturally, the step helps when getting out of the tub, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child when otherwise their head would sink below the waterline. We have also found it to work well as an armrest, making Arctic Hot Tub a convenient water recliner. The Step In solution makes Arctic Hot Tub a bath tub for all ages and helps people with reduced mobility bathe more easily. In the arctic conditions of the Finnish winter, tired limbs are easier to lower into the soothing warm water thanks to Arctic's Step In step.

What colour shall we choose?

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's relaxed approach is also reflected in the hot tub selection. From us you get bath tubs for every need and taste. The Arctic Hot Tub can be dressed to suit your preference. You can choose the colour of the plastic tub yourself from five different options and consider the placement of the Step In step in relation to the stove. And that is not all. You can also choose the material of the outer cladding from three different options and select the cover colour between black or grey. The tub colour range draws inspiration from nature, with options such as sea blue or lichen grey. All colour worlds are compatible and work brilliantly together.

Arctic conditions – efficient insulation

To make Arctic Hot Tub worthy of its Arctic name, we wrapped the tub in proper insulation! Under the plastic tub is 44 cm of EPS insulation, which keeps frost at bay and the bath water hot even in colder winter weather. We also added plenty of thermoplastic to the sides of the tub, so the edges are insulated too. This highly insulated bath tub retains heat so effectively that a well-covered Arctic Hot Tub is still warm the next day. For the chilliest cold cats, we recommend burning one firebox load for the next day's water fun, but the tub will be ready for bathing in a flash. Get the stove wood, change clothes, wash up and prepare the tub drinks, then just go bathing.

Gentle warmth efficiently

Our efficient marine aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The stove, with a full 35 kW of power, is made from durable marine aluminium and conducts heat very well. The stove is equipped with a beautiful glass door, so the wood-fired tub creates a lovely glow around it and you do not need to open the door to check the fire.

The marine aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's hot tub package are made in Finland. The powerful stove is not even afraid of seawater, as it works with both fresh and salt water. Careful details in the materials make the stove a red-hot top product. The stove package includes 2 metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a chimney guard or a spark guard, take a look at the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine starts to oxidise the marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen oxidises the water for about a day, after which the water can also be used for watering, as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children too. Without oxygen, the water can easily start forming a slimy layer on the edges of the bath, but active oxygen prevents this process.

A carefree plastic tub

The uniquely designed and carefully shaped bath section of the Arctic Hot Tub is moulded Jaxal polyethylene plastic. This plastic has a memory, meaning it wants to retain the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care, carefree plastic tub stands the test of time very well, which is why we are happy to offer it a ten-year warranty.

Because the plastic tub has no cast seams, dirt cannot collect in any special places. However, remember to keep the tub surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with normal cleaning agents. The most meticulous users may occasionally clean the tub more aggressively, i.e. disinfect it, but remember to handle wastewater properly.
