At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, we decided to combine these two favourite pastimes, and that is how Arctic Grillikota with Sauna was created. This model fulfils two dreams at once. From the gentle steam of the wood-burning stove in the sauna, you can easily step out for a moment to grill, and when you feel like it, the steam sessions can continue seamlessly. You could keep enjoying this magical combination of grilling and sauna for hours! And although this is already starting to sound like a TV-shop advert, that is not all. The kota is fitted with superb roof windows, through which you can enjoy the northern starry sky at night. Thanks to the windows, daylight enters the kota softly, and you do not have to squint in the dim kota in the middle of the day. Best of all, it does not require electricity. This is powered by firewood.

The best moments of winter and summer

A private garden sauna is a dream for many Finns. Sausages wrapped in foil on the stones of the stove are always soggy and do not cook properly. It is very handy if a fully equipped grill kota opens from the sauna door. You can also think of it the other way round. What if you start craving a sauna while grilling? Well, just add wood to the firebox and half an hour later you are already enjoying lovely steam. In winter, the firebox of the grill kota heats the kota section serving as a changing room, and in summer it is nice to cool down on the kota side if the Finnish summer does not show its best side and the rain comes down sideways. Whatever the weather, it is easy to grill and sauna in Arctic Grillikota with Sauna, whether it is summer or winter.

Open nature – in the roof window

Garden buildings often use easily scratched acrylic windows and light roofing sheets. At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, we do not care much for such materials; we want to offer the best. The windows in the kota and sauna are double-glazed, and the roof windows are made of 8 mm tempered glass, so they are also easy to keep clean. Through the windows you can watch a live broadcast of nature around the clock. At night you admire the stars, and by day you watch birds gliding past or garden trees swaying in the wind. The amount of light in the kota increases dramatically!

Compact use of space

Arctic Grillikota with Sauna is just the right size, with space for up to 12 people in the grill kota section and room for 4 people on the sauna benches. The grill kota section has ready-made table surfaces for six, and the sauna can fit even more people if everyone makes room for each other. The sloping sauna roof rises at a suitable angle above the benches, and even taller sauna-goers can sit without the ceiling getting in the way. If you are a slightly larger sauna-goer, you can install the benches a few centimetres lower. The highest point of the grill kota is over 3 m. So you do not need to crouch while grilling. If desired, the smoke hood can be lowered to make sure all the smoke goes outside.

Round or straight

We manufacture Arctic Grillikota with Sauna from handsome Finnish 45 mm-thick logs. As we want your grill kota sauna to suit your taste, you can choose either rounded log (+€500) or straight planed log. For the sauna, we have selected the Harvia M3 stove with glass door, which creates a warm glow for your steam moments. As an extra order, you can also get a water tank for the stove to heat washing water in advance. It is also worth adding a floor drain for the sauna as an extra, if you plan to splash around a lot in the sauna. Safety of the stove is assured, as the package includes a fire-safe chimney package and stove safety walls. Remember to always use fire carefully and responsibly.

Easy and time-saving element delivery to your home yard

The Arctic Grillikota with Sauna we have created is no small package, as the whole unit is substantial in size and weight. That is why we deliver it to your yard mainly as pre-made elements. Roof, walls and floors are delivered as elements. The base timbers in the elements are pressure-treated wood, and roofing felt is included in the delivery. The customer is responsible for the foundations, but to make this easier, you can order a pressure-treated plinth for the kota and sauna at extra cost. The kota plinth comes in two elements, and the sauna plinth is easy to complete from pre-cut timber. Instructions and building permit drawings for the kota can be requested in advance, so when the delivery arrives you can simply start turning Arctic Grillikota with Sauna into sauna and grilling condition. You will need a drill, screw gun, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and calm enthusiasm for the assembly work. Always read the instructions carefully before starting any work phase.
